Philosophy of CENA

CENA is the next chapter in Arnav’s culinary journey: a reimagined pop-up dining experience that blends global flavors with creative storytelling. Born from a history of intimate and innovative student-run events, CENA is now a platform where fine dining meets community—bringing people together through bold flavors, playful presentation, and cross-cultural inspiration.

Story

Arnav Kamulkar ’26, founder of CENA, has been passionate about food since high school, when he turned his family’s Edison, NJ, home into Fork in the Road, a pop-up restaurant booked months in advance with his mom as sous chef and dad as server. By 16, he had self-published Chef Arnav’s Signature Guide to Gourmet Cooking, and since then has cooked everywhere from fraternity kitchens to NFL training camps. In 2025, he competed on Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef, where Ramsay praised his “absolute focus” and recruited him to his team.
